Welcome!

Hope Church exists to proclaim the Gospel in LOVE through faithful Worship, Discipleship, Community, and Outreach.

Worship

We believe God has met us through the incarnation of Jesus and the reconciliation of all things through his atoning death, resurrection, and ascension, and we believe in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit for the ministry to which we've been called. This leads our hearts to worship the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We want to be known for our fervent worship.

Community

We believe we've been called together to live as the family of God in Charleston. Because of this, we practice radical hospitality — toward one another, and toward those who've yet to become part of our family.

Outreach

We believe God has sent us as missionaries to our culture. Therefore, we seek to develop our hearts to be resilient disciples and heralds of God’s Kingdom! We do this in three primary ways;

  1. Relational Evangelism

  2. Reaching Our Children and Youth

  3. Church Planting

What does it mean to be an Anglican Church?

As Anglicans, we are part of the Anglican Church in North America through the Diocese of Christ Our Hope. We're connected to the Anglican Communion worldwide — the third largest Christian communion, with 85 million members in 165 countries. Like other Christian traditions, we are deeply rooted and united in the faith of the One Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our common worship is both rooted and relevant, drawing us fully into God's presence through Word, Sacrament, and the Holy Spirit. It is liturgical, timeless, and adaptable — opening the door to deep personal transformation for all who participate with hearts open to God. Our services mirror the worship of the ancient apostolic church while speaking the language and culture of the communities in which they're practiced.
