Church Planting

The mission of Hope Church is primarily to love the Lord our God with all absolutely every aspect of who we are--to love our neighbors as ourselves--and to make disciples of all nations. The primary way we see this mission being accomplished is through the vision to plant churches that plant churches. The simple truth is that a church in never “ready” to launch a plant, but we believe that we should do it anyway! Given this, we are beginning to plant the next church, even though we are a church plant ourselves.

For the City

The secondary aspect of mission at Hope is pursuing good for the city of Charleston. We know there are many organizations doing great work for the city, so we are in the process of discerning which organizations to partner with to accomplish the most good in Charleston.

We partner with several churches for the sake of building God’s Kingdom in West Virginia. The following churches have all independently felt a call to participate in the mission of bringing the Hope of the Gospel to West Virginia.

Christ Church Anglican—Winston-Salem, NC

Resurrection Church, Hope Mills, NC

Wellspring Littleton—Littleton, CO

St. John Lutheran—Roanoke, VA

If you or your church would be interested in partnering in Gospel ministry in West Virginia, please contact Pastor Derek at derek@hopecharleston.org.
